ARTIST’S BIO
A St. Augustine-based artist, specializing in mixed media collage. Originally trained in pastels,
she developed her expertise in layering and juxtaposing colors, a technique she now applies to
mono-printing collage papers. Her work blends mixed media, mono-printed papers, and found
ephemera, which she tears into “brushstrokes” to create a painterly effect.
A Massachusetts native, she earned a degree in fine art from the Art Institute of Boston. After a
career in project management, she transitioned to a full-time art career.
Paula is an active member of the St. Augustine Art Association, Florida Women’s Art
Association, and the First Coast Pastel Society, with her work featured in collections along the
East Coast. She teaches workshops locally and has won numerous awards.
