ARTIST’S BIO
Darla Donley was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1965. She has lived all over the country and made Florida her home in 2016. She lives with her family in Palm Coast, Florida, but spends the majority of her time in St. Augustine.
Darla began her art journey in early 2014 when her husband signed them up for a painting class. By lunchtime, Darla knew she wanted to pursue a career in painting and teaching art classes.
Darla’s paintings have made the cover of the St. Augustine Entertainer magazine twice in 2019, twice in 2022, six times in 2023, and four times in 2024.
Darla enjoys painting with a variety of techniques . . . portrait painting, traditional oil painting, finger painting, and palette knife painting.
